Industry players team up to advance biofuels

Clariant, Dong energy, and British Airways are among seven biofuels developers that have formed a lobby group to accelerate the development, deployment and use of second generation biofuels in Europe.
The Leaders of Sustainable Biofuels group was launched in Brussels, Belgium earlier this week to fill what it sees as a gap in representation for players in the advanced biofuels sector, and a shortfall in appropriate policies and financial instruments to incentivise commercial development at both EU and national levels.
